How to become a market leader in the non-TP18 mosquito repellants vertical in France? Pitch a product innovation/extension with a Go-To-Market strategy.

What I Did

  • Conducted in-depth consumer and competitor research using mixed methods research.

  • Crunched massive data into actionable insights with robust analysis.

  • Brainstormed & Ideated a product innovation and worked on its branding.

  • Built a brand strategy based on ideal consumer personas and message mining.

  • Devised pricing and distribution strategy backed by market data.

  • Developed a fail-proof promotion strategy detailing creative briefs, media plan and budgeting for 1M€.

Impact

The project was adjudged one of the best of the cohort, with an impressive narrative and storytelling built around the problem. SC Johnson has also approved it for further R&D.

Avalon Meta

How I helped quadruple Avalon's discord community and lowered Customer Acquisition Cost in two months.

Challenge

Brief

Avalon Meta is a community-driven business with an App-based Ed-tech product. The company was actively trying to build an engaged community and required support in its acquisition. 

What I Did

  • Worked between brand and performance teams to write CRO copy and run paid ads on Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube.

  • Leveraged the founders' Personal brands to drive higher reach and engagement.

  • Deployed an iterative approach to optimise the campaign creatives to maximise performance.

  • Optimised landing pages into true conversion machines by A/B testing the copy and visuals.

  • Imbibed the brand's purpose in every integrated campaign.

Impact

We were able to scale the community from 5,000 to 20,000 in just two months and fuelled exponential growth. By building an engaging community and nurturing them, we were also able to double the number of conversions.

Dunkr

How I assisted Dunkr to find its brand voice and devised a brand strategy for integrated campaigns.

Brief

Dunkr is a UK-based early start-up on a mission to enrich student life with exclusive student discounts. They were stuck in a loop of difficulties with partner relationships, customer acquisition and startup scaling and weren't sure where to start.

What I Did

  • Stepped in as a Brand Strategist to help them troubleshoot their operations.

  • Conducted extensive brand audits, competitor analysis and consumer research.

  • Analysed the data into actionable insights and managerial implications for the key stakeholders 

  • Delivered recommendations on brand strategy and marketing communications.

Impact

  • Delivered a brand guide clarifying their brand purpose, identity, and positioning.

  • Collaborated with their performance team to develop a social media and content marketing strategy in line with the brand voice.

  • Made recommendations to improve their website copy and optimise the layout and design for better conversions. 

Rough Sketch Studio

How I helped a branding studio cost-effectively win their first ten clients using e-mail marketing and landing page CRO.

Brief

Rough Sketch Studio is a bootstrapped, budding brand design & marketing studio based in India. With limited budgets and resources, they were struggling to acquire and onboard new clients in a cost and time-effective way.

What I Did

  • Used LinkedIn Sales Navigators to generate leads for cold-emailing.

  • Wrote persuasive, personalised e-mail copy to nurture the leads into prospects.

  • Conducted A/B testing for the e-mails and landing pages to identify best-performing copies and visuals

  • Automated the process using Martech tools like Foxbound and MailChimp and built a cost-effective customer acquisition model.

Impact

Rough Sketch Studio was able to onboard ten new clients in a single quarter and was also able to connect with more prospects via referrals.

Butternut Box

Planning a new TikTok paid campaign for a fast- growing D2C brand.

Challenge

Brief

Plan, activate, and analyse a new TikTok Paid campaign aimed at acquiring new sign-ups (conversions) in an efficient way.

What I Did

  • Planning: Understand the scale of the campaign to compute the bidding strategy by target figures (impressions, traffic, conversions).

  • Activating the campaign with a conversion objective and creating Ad groups for different high-purchase intent audiences.

  • ​Built a creative brief by reverse engineering the brand tone of voice and social listening to identify key pain points and customer insights.​

  • Ideated creative execution in various educative, emotional and entertaining content angles.

  • Defined the KPIs for weekly reporting and analysis: CTR, Conversion Rate, and CPA and suggested optimising the creatives and landing pages to maximise efficient performance.
